| Chris Infusino is a professional drummer based in New York City, NY. After cutting his teeth in Chicago working with the likes of Buddy Guy, John Kattke, and The Blues Brothers Tribute, Chris moved to New York City in August 2010, and quickly got on the scene recording and performing with: Dr. John, Jon Paris, Gene Cornish, Bernie Williams, Tony Garnier (Bob Dylan), Jay Levine (Producer w/ Atlantic Records) Jeff Hill (Rufus Wainwright), Benny Harrison, Bobby Watson (Rufus), Wakey! Wakey! Jim Wolf, William Duvall, Michael Nappi, and many others. Chris was born and raised in Chicago, IL, and started playing drums at age 12. He had many musical influences from the beginning, including his mother, a singer, and his father, a professional drummer of 30 years. During this time, he listened and played to a variety of genres, usually soul, R&B, and rock, and artists like Steely Dan, Blood Sweat & Tears, and the Blues Brothers. It wasn’t until high school and studying with drum teacher Tom Tedrahn that Chris opened his eyes to jazz and fusion, spending countless hours practicing to albums from Modern Jazz Quartet, George Duke, and Chick Corea.

| He received a scholarship to Roosevelt University in Chicago, and Chris played and recorded with the Roosevelt Jazz Orchestra, several jazz combos and studied with accomplished drummer and teacher, Phil Gratteau. He began playing in top-40 bands and jazz clubs in Chicago, and used the experiences to move beyond practicing to recorded music. Chris has also studied with, Ndugu Chancler, Taku Hirano, Lewis Nash, Paul Wertico and Ruben Alvarez. “I wanted to get out and play with other musicians.
